To help Ancestry bring their creative and design delivery process in-house.

The challenge

1. UI Optimisations

To refine the design of the existing pages to make them feel more dynamic and engaging.

I created more space for the records and photographs throughout the page to better convey the depth of information.

Results

With prototypes to illustrate motion and functionality, the whole team were aligned on the vision for bringing the content to life.

2. Creative campaign

To invigorate the pivotal campaign’s look and feel and visually drive home the campaign messaging.

  1. Establishing a creative direction - I designed and presented four routes for exploration.

  2. Aligned on one to develop further

  3. Applied the designs to some key deliverables for final approval

  4. Rolled out to all the deliverables and market variants

3. Campaign delivery system

Ancestry decided to take their digital campaign production in-house and needed an experienced designer to help them build a robust system for design delivery.

The challenge

Set up an atomic file structure for design elements
